Why Team EPC exists
Team EPC was founded by Awais Sarwar to make getting an Energy Performance Certificate straightforward: a clear price, a survey booked around you, and a certificate you can rely on when a sale, letting or new build depends on it. Awais's background is in energy assessment work across London property, and that experience — seeing how often homeowners and landlords were quoted vaguely or kept waiting — shaped how we run bookings today: an upfront quote from the tool on this site, a named assessor, and a certificate lodged on the EPC Register without you having to chase it.
How the team works
Every survey is carried out by a qualified, registered domestic energy assessor using the RdSAP methodology, walking the property to record its construction, insulation, heating and glazing rather than estimating from photographs. For non-domestic and new-build work, jobs are matched to an assessor with the right SBEM or SAP experience for the building's scale. We book you directly with the person doing the survey, so there is no agency layer adding a margin between your quote and the assessor's fee — you are dealing with the provider carrying out the work.
